Florenc21: 1st competition workshop

Four parallel architectural competitions are in full swing, searching for a new form for the largest brownfield in the center of the capital – Florenc21.

Architects from all over the world will participate in the competition for four city blocks that will “hide” the “magistrála” highway in Florenc, and we are very happy that PHAP is among the selected ones!

This week, the first competition workshop took place with the participation of all selected studios.

The goal of the four parallel architectural competitions is to find high-quality, economically feasible and socially and environmentally sustainable solutions for individual blocks in the 1st stage of the development of the Florenc21 area: West Stage. The basis for the coordinated development of the area and the competition assignment is a coordination study, which follows the urban study prepared as part of the Florenc21 International Urban Planning Competition, which took place in 2021.
