Planeta Praha: Discussion with Pavel Hnilička on 5/14 at CAMP!

May 2025

DON’T MISS THE DISCUSSION ON THE PLANET PRAGUE EXHIBITION ON TUESDAY 14/5 FROM 19:00 at CAMP!

Prague is still developing, both in the form of new city districts and the renewal of current ones. Whether it is a housing development or a place to relax, it is always the result of thoughtful planning. How are documents such as a regulatory or spatial plan created and what is their purpose? What changes will the Metropolitan Plan bring, which wants to define a clear border of the city and separate where it is allowed to build and where it is not? How to even define city boundaries and which places are still to be built? What impact does the growth of Prague have on the cities around it? Anna Kuryviálová from IPR Praha, architect and urban planner Pavel Hnilička and social anthropologist Radan Hauzík will discuss these topics in the second discussion for the Planeta Praha exhibition.

Pavel Hnilička – Urban planning in general and outside the center, current trends in design
Anna Kuryviálová – Different types of Prague plans and their levels
Radan Haluzík – Vague terrains, inner peripheries and neglected places, how to fulfill their potential

The event is interpreted into Czech sign language and provided with simultaneous transcription.
