The Prague City Council approved the planning agreement for Dubeč

A brand new, thoughtfully designed neighborhood is coming to the east of Prague!

No haphazard greenfield development. Thanks to the excellent cooperation of the capital city, the Dubeč and Dolní Počernice city districts, and a private investor, a high-quality urban area will be created here where people will truly enjoy living. We are thrilled to announce that the June Prague City Assembly approved the planning agreement for our proposed master plan!

The investor will not only build apartments here but is also directly contributing to the development of the surrounding area with an amount exceeding half a billion crowns.

What does this mean for local residents in practice?

▪️ A new four-class kindergarten and tens of millions of extra crowns for the development of education.
▪️ A large park, a new square, and a network of bike paths.
▪️ The “Dubeč North Tangent,” which will connect Českobrodská and Národních hrdinů streets and significantly relieve current traffic.
▪️ Municipal apartments for Dubeč.

Furthermore, this neighborhood will seamlessly connect to the upcoming construction by the Prague Development Company, which is preparing over a thousand municipal apartments, an elementary school, and an additional kindergarten in Dolní Počernice.

The master plan, which sets the rules for streets, squares, and parks even before the buildings themselves are designed, took three years to create. We spent one year working on the proposal and the next two years diligently seeking a mutual agreement with all stakeholders. We dare say that out of our recent urban planning projects, this one is on track to be the absolute best!
