February 2024
Last week, the modernization of Prague’s Smíchov railway station was ceremonially launched, which will be followed by the construction of a new bus terminal. In its immediate vicinity, the construction of the Česká spořitelna campus will soon begin as a distinctive landmark of the entire area of the newly emerging district of Smíchov city.
It is currently the largest development area in the Czech Republic, which will include, in addition to the new headquarters of the largest Czech bank, 400,000 sq m of apartments, administrative, commercial and public areas, a kilometer-long boulevard, a school and a new footbridge over the railway tracks.
